"Color" Me Obsessed...

While doing a post on one of my daughter’s style blog, I came across oven mitts and kitchen towels I’m now completely infatuated with.

Yes… oven mitts and kitchen towels. How can such seemingly ordinary things shake up my world? Because, for one thing, they involve cooking & food (my wheelhouse) and for another thing…. they’re pretty, guys.

The first thing I came across while doing the post (which was about shades of gray in the kitchen) was a beautiful black, gray, and white “Chevron” print Towels (pictured above).  I searched for a corresponding oven mitt to compliment the beautiful towel and found myself down a rabbit’s hole – colorful oven mitts. Meet my new total obsession, Terry Oven Mitts. I can’t pinpoint why I’m so in love with these guys, but there you have it. I love the WIDE array of colors available and they have a nostalgic vibe about them I’m crazy about.

Another great thing about them is you can coordinate them with dishtowels, and if we’re being honest, I’m all about making things match, blend, and harmonize. I’m one of those annoying people who spends entirely too much time thinking about color combinations – I carry one towel all around the store, holding it up against everything else. Drives my family nuts.

So many beautiful possibilities, they make my girly girl heart race.
